Dr. Lee is a real hero in my world ! After being treated extremely poorly for 1 year by MANY other doctors, she actually "heard" me. She took me into surgery, removed a 17 year old TOT Sling arm, and IMMEDIATELY ended my pain ! All the other doctors tried to "cover up" the cause of my condition with drugs and injections. Dr.Lee is amazing! From the moment I met her, I knew she was the dr for me. I live 4.5 hours away & she made it possible to have one appointment & then surgery. I’m now 3 days out from my mesh removal & reconstruction surgery. There was more damage then we thought after she opened me up. She was able to get ALL the mesh and fix EVERYTHING in just one surgery. I’m grateful for her and her team. I feel 100% better! I would recommend this doctor to anyone in need of mesh removal!
My surgery was more complicated than anticipated and she made sure she got all the mesh out and I needed my urethra rebuilt and she just did it while she was in there so I wouldn’t need another surgery. She is very compassionate and explains things very well. She has a very comforting calm demeanor which also helps. She is great!
My experience with this Dr was life threatening and several reconstruct operations later, a crushed ureter and a kidney they punctured to drain it so I could wear 2 bags for months, one for the back to drain the kidney and one for the front for the crushed ureter - just a simple prolapse operation she refused to believe caused so much damage I had to go to another hospital to confirm the damage. 84 pages of reconstruction attempts later, she would still take no responsibility.
