Names may change, but the people remain the same! Great help on all the things I need for years now.
Prior to the Columbia Bank merger with Umpqua, I had 15 years as a customer (at Umpqua Bank.) They called themselves "the world's greatest bank" and I tend to agree. The service was personal, the people were friendly, never had any problems. Then along comes the Columbia and Umpqua Bank merger. I’ve been a customer for over 20 years, and this bank is an absolute nightmare. Twice recently, employees promised a replacement debit card, only for me to find out it was never actually ordered — and the same thing happened three years ago. I live 2.5 hours away, wasted countless hours and money driving to the bank, and they refused to overnight the card, leaving me completely stranded.
