The UMortgage team was fantastic! They all were super helpful during the entire process of preparing us for escrow and getting us through escrow so smoothly! I couldn't recommend them enough!
Unfortunately, our experience was not as pleasant as it could have been. We chose to use UMortgage because Vanessa Z. was our lender for our previous home (she worked for a different company back then). We felt like the company was not transparent with fees and while it was all on the paperwork, they never explained it to us- ($10,000) to “pay down” to the regular interest rate (felt scammy to us). Buying a house can be very stressful and mentaly draining.. atleast that's what I thought. Then I hooked up with UMortgage and all my stress went away. They walked us through the entire process and didn't leave our side until the deal was done. Jacob Bustamante and Angela Valdez are complete professionals. From getting pre-approved to getting the loan written. They're positive energy was overwhelming. My wife and I are forever grateful. I highly recommend UMortgage to anybody looking to buy a home or refinance.
