Dr. Shoaf performed a urolift procedure on me in November 2023. The surgery resulted in a massive abdominal hematoma, which was not discovered until well over a month after the surgery, as there was poor follow up, subsequent to the surgery. Additionally the condition the surgery was expected to correct actually became much worse. The urolift device was removed by a competent surgeon and the overall prostate issue corrected in February 2026.
