The open mri machine is why I go here. The medical techs are friendly and helpful, but the front staff is always rude and very short. I’ve been there 4 times with appointment, each time, I have to wait more than 30 minutes to go in for my test because they take walk ins and have limited staff. It takes many tries to reach someone by phone. The automated mess always says that they’re having high cal volume and that I can hold or they will call me back and I won’t my place in line. I visited UMIH at both their Irvine and Mission Viejo locations for a transvaginal ultrasound. Shortly after the procedure, I developed symptoms consistent with a urinary tract infection, which required follow up care. While I cannot definitively determine the cause, the timing raised concerns for me about infection control practices during the exam. This was a difficult experience, and I would encourage the clinic to review and reinforce their sterilization and hygiene protocols to ensure patient safety.

Don't waste your time. I went to the one in Irvine waited 1 hour then they told me they didn't have what they needed so they sent me to the office in buena Park they gave me 1 mri then I needed one with contrast and the guy couldn't figure out how to do it so I said just send the one mri to my Dr. They said ok then they never sent it i had to drive all the way back to get it myself. What a joke
