Stay away from their countertops. Sales rep was extremely rude to our customer and refuse to stand behind their defective product. Will no longer purchase any of their stone.

After I purchased a oversized Pompeii quartz (man made stone) slab and an additional slab for a matching backsplash, I was told they should match closely as long as they don’t share a seam since they are man made and are made the same from slab to slab. When I got the slab/backsplash installed, they were not even close to matching despite being the same product. Although UMI has a great selection of granite, I can not recommend them. We purchased multiple slabs for our Kitchen and laundry room counter remodel. My designer and I confirmed the slabs Twice. Yet somehow the wrong slab was installed on my kitchen Island. It has been over a month now and there is still no resolution. UMI is fighting with the fabricator over who is going to pay for the mistake. The manager at UMI refuses to call me so that we can discuss the situation.
