Unethical Practices , Scare Tactics and threats. Poor Job Practices., just bad business dealing with customers and poor decisions. Discrimination due to favoritism and discrimination towards disabled people.

UMH has owned my Ohio mobile home park for about 5-6 years now. In the 25 years I been there all the bad years were under UMH. ? Yearly rent increase of $20.00 ? Constant complaints about Tenants homes, yet their concrete pads are all cracking, sinking & lifting. ? Snow removal is horrible. When it was still under original ownership one man did a better job & more promptly. ? I have lived in a Northeast Ohio UMH property for three years ... well,under their reign for three years, my mobile home had been on the same lot for 20 years, but three years is the amount of time UMH has owned the property. The rules and regulations pile on each year ( cant have items on your covered porch, wash this, paint that, my flower bed is not pretty enough) During this same three years my rent has been increased by a total of 75.00 a month and I have not seen any improvement from the increased rent, only increased ... read more

My experience with UMH Properties in Cranberry Twp Pa was absolutely horrific. In first moving to the premises I discovered that the back of my lot was flooding pretty severely whereby mosquitos would hover everywhere making it impossible to use the area at all.. In speaking with the management at the time (who was later fired) & the maintenance man (who was later fired as well) I was told it wasn't their problem! UMH in Moosic PA which is a part of UMH Freehold, NJ, like any place has it's +/-. This place overall used to have a better tone a few years back. It has since become less tenant friendly and more distant from any kind of professional customer friendly interactions. No matter IF you buy or rent a place in any of these trailer parks, you truly own nothing. i live in a UMH property! I have lived at this residents now for 34-years of my life! Nothing has improved in the last 34-years! They are all about money and wanting to get rid of ppl! people fall on hard times! Like my self! i am handicap and because i have fallen behind on rent they now want to make my son and I homeless! I have no where to go! They up the lot rent and they dnt want to maintain the park! They are always having issues with broken water lines, water being shut off! I live in Norteast Ohio park. UMH is a wonderful place to live. We fill safe and secure. Our Property Manager is wonderful he does the best job. Him and the maintnenace manager is AWESOME we love it here. My brother bought a house her, My mom is selling her condo and moving in our park. The maintenance staff are professional and friendly. The grounds are keep nice and clean. Roads are freshly black topped. I would defintely recommend UMH Properties Inc to family and friends.
