Rented an apartment for my daughter at Heron Meadows. The on site Manager was fantastic, living there was fine. The maintenance people did their best. My problem was moving out, two of the smoke alarms were malfunctioning and I informed maintenance since they are batterie and wired they have to be calibrated to get them to shut off. honestly, it's not the greatest .
The owners do not take care of the property. Things are falling apart, maintenance takes forever to complete work orders and most of the time the work is shoddy. The heating systems are not cleaned, the carpets are not replaced until they are super gross, the windows are not put in properly and it is super cold due to lack of insulation. Mold grows on windows during winter and the heating bill is over $100.00 each month. Also, the rules are ridiculous. Umbrella took over 4 days to send in out Rental History Application which delayed us from getting another apartment and cost us application fees. This is no small matter in this tight rental market.
