I'm also confused about the negative reviews. My partner and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago for 2 nights. All the reception staff we met were helpful and friendly. The room was large and clean, and the bed were comfortable. There was a fridge and microwave. The shower was lovely and hot. Just a few minutes walk from the metro, restaurants and shops. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Stayed here for 2 weeks. Couldn’t understand the bad reviews. Had a very pleasant stay, the lobby personnel were very helpful. Room cleaning was top notch. Only downside is its location, where you can only get to it by N train towards Coney Island. Other than that, if you’re looking after your budget and don’t care not staying in Manhattan, this is a very good option.

DO NOT STAY HERE! BE WARNED! The room we got were disgusting: The bedsheets were stained by god knows what, and completely infested by bedbugs. The property management would not provide a refund despite the conditions brought to their attention.
