Called to hire as my CPA, mentioned I had a small crypto position and wanted to talk to someone to see about level of comfort. A week passed and I was basically was ghosted. Had to call back to find out they didn’t think it was a good fit. We are talking very basic position that even basic turbotax can handle. I need their help with moving into PA, home purchase and small business filing. Unable to speak to the quality of work but never feels good to just get told we will call you and then nothing, and oh.. “not a good fit”.
