The receptionist that scheduled my appointment, had the rudest tone and shortest patience of any medical office I have ever contacted. I was so excited to schedule my intial appointment, and was treated horribly by her. I do not remember her name, but I would look into sensitivity and client service training for staff. Bariatric surgery is an extrememely stressful procedure, and there is a lot of personal feelings involved in it. I like that the weight center was easy to find. I had my surgery done August of last year. It did take about a year of going through everything to finally get my surgery but it was worth it. Yes it says six months but it depends on each person individually they're not going to just rush surgery because you want to get it done. I had Dr. Kelly and his staff. They were all amazing.
I recommended you look for other options. If, you are black or latino don’t even try. Their six month program it’s way longer is about milking your insurance not your health.
