Dr. Umashanker is component, knowledgeable, professional, compassionate and caring. I have referred more that one friend.
Dr Umashanker is wonderful. I saw her for digestive issues and she helped me not have to go on medication. I highly recommend her.
This Doctor pretends to have empathy for her patients. She will promise to make them well. But in return sends them off to other physicians due to her incompotence. Tells patient their illness is all in their heads when she doesn't know the answers. Awful! Experience treated me like I didn't matter. Because she didn't have a clue how to help me and she just stopped seeing me after she put me on depression, why a GI surgeon would do that is beyond me but that's all she did after telling me my illness was all in my head.
