We are having a horrible experience with Umarex. Their customer service is all over the place. It's like someone new reads each of our emails and not any of the previous messages. We purchased an airsoft pistol. It malfunctioned within the first week. We sent it back for a refund (AT OUR OWN EXPENSE!). Instead, they never contacted us and simply returned it to us saying that 'it's fine'. This company serves as the service and warranty arm in North America for Walther Arms. The personnel at this place is hands down, by far the worst team and individuals to deal with in the entire firearms industry. Experts in everything, egos too big to make a situation right even when images are provided to prove what was previously stated not possible, possible and just overall unpleasant people to email or speak to over the phone. Needed to return ( and have SERVICED)...XBG pistol, which appears to have damaged nipple for CO2 cartridge. No contact from service department, gun returned to me unuseable....with comment "out of warranty". Really? I would have paid to have the part replaced. Warning.....they don't tell you when buying that you should only use Gammo or Umarex cartridges, though.....am not sure that really matters. Gun was ok for 5 months. I had a minor issue with one of my airsoft guns that required a replacement part. I searched in vain throughout the internet to find it. In defeat I called up the customer service, fully expecting a massive fight with a guy who barely speaks English in a customer service center in India or something; like the other airsoft companies i had called about BUYING the part.
