I have been dining and ordering takeout from here for several years as it is on my way home from work. The sushi rolls have always been incredibly fresh and delicious. The rice to fish ratio is always just right as they are not stingy with the amount of fish and the fish is equally distributed throughout the whole roll. I decided to stop by and visit the restaurant after the renovation. The fresh and modern makeover looks great! What a fabulous place for a date night. I will be coming back to dine in.
Umami never lets me down. The owners and staff are great, and the sushi rolls are incredible.
disappointed as I've dined here about a year ago and had a great experience but recently this past Sunday 7/20/25, I decided to do takeout for my wife and I. she got the cucumber avocado roll and one of the special rolls, i did the 18 pc sashimi. After 15 minutes of eating, both of us had upset stomachs. not sure if the fish itself had been sitting too long or the person preparing did not properly wash hands. We both love sushi and eat it frequently. this is not a normal reaction for us.
I ordered take out from this restaurant. My family and I have ordered take out from this restaurant several times before. The employees never start to work on our order until we actually get to the restaurant and pay for the food first. I was told that my food would be ready in 30 minutes.
