As soon as you walk thru the doors, they act mad cause you have disturbed them. I had respiratory issues and they (Q.a.e r.) failed miserably again. Why is it when I go to a primary care Dr. In 15mins I'm diagnosed, treated,scripted and gone. At Q.A. Er it's 2-4hrs of sitting in room waiting ,while you watch them play games and ignore you at the nurses station. Blood work dosen't take an hr to process , yes I got 3pills of prednisone whoopee doo. The worst hospital I've ever been too. Not only did they burn a hole in my skin from IV morphine leaking on my arm as I screamed in pain for an hour... I now have a hole intended in my arm but recently I was there and they failed to treat severe pain or explain the scans they did. They said they were fine but after a family member who is a nurse read the results after I haven't been able to move from excruciating pain... the results of radiology tests clearly explained the issue but they said nothing was wrong and I've been ... read more
My mother-in-law was recently a patient at UM Shore Emergency Center at Queenstown. She had an amazing experience. Every person she encountered (starting with the receptionist) was attentive, professional and caring. The staff went above and beyond to make sure she received the best care. A HUGE shout out to Beth (a nurse), Ashley (Nurse Practitioner) and Dr. Eric Abbott. They provided her with excellent care and were extremely attentive and caring.
