Was bright by ambulance for stroke and heart attack symptoms and BP 201/144 to BWMC at 10 am. Dumped in waiting room spending 12 hours before brought back to ER. Seen by a so called doctor Ketaki Abhyanksr, who was rude, short tempered and simply gave me Valium and my regular night time BP med. then threw me out at midnight. I tried to explain the following morning I’d have same problem again but she wasn’t hearing any of it. She said her job was to stabilize me and send me out at midnight with no way home. Unbelievable. Doc was great! That ER waiting room though….
This hospital should be investigated. I recently had open heart surgery and came in with excruciating pain. The intake staff was rude and disrespectful. They acted like I was a nuisance for coming in. Even though I was in tears with severe pain they left me in the waiting room and said that it would be a few hours before I could be seen. There was no compassion and they didn’t want to hear anything that I had to say. I hope enough people complain so others can get care they deserve
Arrived at 3pm. TRIAGE was right away,Vitals and blood work. Not many here when I arrived. I somehow got lost in the shuffle and my was not.on any list to be seen by the doctor.
