Derek is a gifted masseur. He was generous, kind, responsive and intuitive. I booked a Lomi Lomi massage and Derek found and helped unlock an energetic block. His explanation made a lot of sense to me. I couldn't recommend him highly enough. Mahalo Derek and happy new year. Finding the suite: I found free parking near the library (about a block away) and (in 2025) the entry to the building is the unassuming door between the chiropractor and the restaurant. Derrick's suite is on the ground floor.
I've been to Derek several times and am truly impressed with how in touch he is with not only my pain but the source of it. He's more than a massage therapist; he's a healer. Go once and you'll be impressed but keep going back and the therapy just get better as he learns how your body works. His space his clean, relaxing, easily accessible, and in great part of Kailua. Walk in and float out.
I recently started getting regular massages by Derek and I can’t recommend him enough! This coincided with getting back in the gym and sore muscles at first. He applies à perfect amount of pressure, relaxing when I needed it and easily transitioned to deep tissue and the right amount of pressure as my strength returned and my muscles were stronger. Excellent service and professionalism!
