This place is a scam. They charge $29.99 when you swipe your credit card, their voicemail says it will come off your statement(meaning they will take as long as possible to settle the charge). Reputable places authorize $2 so you can complete your task and return. I saw this place just driving by, but the machine was faulty and caused me to lose $6 after I couldn’t get the attendant’s attention who sauntered over(delay is the name of the game). I’ve used Ultra Car Wash on 167 Ave a few times and normally it’s a solid place — clean bays, good pressure, and decent equipment. But this last visit left a bad impression. I was overcharged on my credit card, and the amount didn’t match the time I actually spent in the bay. On my two previous visits, I was charged $8.00 and $16.00 — fair and in line with how long I was there. Nice enough set up but the water pressure was comparable to a garden hose. Dumped $9 into trying to clean the truck but finally just gave up. Also come in water proof shoes because I was jumping around the water trying to make it to the drain. Grate doesn’t go all the way under the car on the last stall.

My favorite self-serve car wash in Edmonton. Big bays with lots of options, undercarriage washers, hot water rinse, and filtered water for spotless rinse. A bit pricier but worth it—car comes out looking great every time.
