Great staff, very professional and personable. Helped us get in and out of kayaks and explained everything to us. The family enjoyed the route--plenty of places to explore. We saw ospreys, kingfishers, red-winged blackbirds, and herons. Long enough route and varied enough areas to be interesting and the 2 hours was perfect for me (50F) and my teens (15 &17)
We had a fun time but as we’re in the marina the employees started yelling at us from across the marina to come in, an hour early because of thunder, after it was the end of the storm and sunny again. It was just passing over us and after we got out of the canoes it was sunny again. The thunder was stopping as they yelled at us across the marina, while it was actively raining and thundering while we were in the water they never called us, they just saw us after the storm was over and yelled at us from across the marina.
