Tracy Long and Kennie Lou Frankle published a martial arts children‘s program called the Ultimate Kidz Zone with the goal of opening a Martial Arts School that focused on Children and Families. Unfortunately Kennie Lou was killed by a Drunk Driver in Burlington, NC. Tracy refused to let the dream die so Tracy Long and Shannon Edwards became a part of opening Ultimate Martial Arts and Fitness and are still a part of it today. UMAF is a great place to learn Martial Arts in a fun, encouraging, family-friendly atmosphere. The instructors are wonderful and go above and beyond to help you reach your goals.
Family oriented school, great way to spend time with your family and friends while teaching and learning
Students at UMAF are taught self confidence and accountability while having fun. As a mom, it is so encouraging to see your child beg for more exercise time. I would highly recommend UMAF to my friends- and I already have!
If your looking for great results you will get them at UMAF!! I go to 3 fitness classes a week and LOVE LOVE it!! Good prices as well :)
I have seen many different Martial art's schools but I have not seen one that is as family oriented as this one is. The staff has taken great time and effort to work with my son and teach him in a way that he can truely learn. Every time I am there, I feel like we are just one big family. Great for the young and old.
I have seen many different Martial Art schools but none compare to the way this school welcomes everybody and makes you feel like a family. I have seen many kids start the school with very low self-esteem but ultimately grow as an individual and become more confident with themselves and their abilities. I am proud to be a member of this martial art family and would encourage any and every to try it. Excellent way to get in shape as a family.
