I was experiencing light-headedness and my blood pressure was 177/85. As a 76 yr old diabetic with Stage 1 hypertension, I went to the hospital, not knowing if it was a cardiac issue or stroke. Sadly, I lost both parents to congestive heart failure. On the the attending physician's urging, I agreed to being admitted. Ultimate denied my claim because it was neither a stroke or heart attack. I don't understand, was I supposed to go into cardiac arrest or experience a CVA before seeking care?
I love my Ultimate Health Plan.
Too small to use in network providers. Put of network benefits stink. Kind of s joke. Then they paid 100% of an out of network provider AND facility. Changed my opinion. They couldn’t match the Credentials of the out of network surgeon. So far so happy.
I do like ultimate.... But I am looking for a couple specialists so the first of the year I requested a 2026 provider directory. Well i received my 5th mailing of the same directory for region 2 I live in region 5 I believe I was told EVERY TIME I called. Pictured are 4 I threw the first one away believing it was a mistake. Zero stars. This is the worst health insurance I have ever had. The member portal never works, customer service call line is horrible, only a few doctors in their network for primary care and not enough specialists in their network. You get what you pay for! This free give back Medicare Advantage Plan is garbage. All it covers is $90 worth of band aids and tylenol per month. Good luck seeing any specialists and only a few bottom of the barrel primary care docs. I can not even see MD only a nurse practioner. Switching to anot... read more
