Went to see them today about reprogramming my Dodge Hornet. They were so nice. They were unable to help me due to advanced electrical system issue and suggested I take it to dealer. I appreciate the transparency and not trying to just make a sale. They also warned me not to take it to another mechanic because they also wouldn’t be able to reprogram it due to my car being newer model. Thank you to both mechanics.
OMG OMG OMG I call for a question, he says “what kind of car is it?” I say “a Chevy hatchback” he says “what’s that? I never heard of that”………. Uhmmmmmmmm I get it maybe a regular person doesn’t know what a hatchback is MAYBE, but a mechanic not knowing is completely mind blowing. One of the greatest and most HONEST mechanics ever! I told him my situation and before I brought the car in he asked me to test some stuff on the car and we diagnosed the issue was the battery and I could get a new one anywhere… it’s not your alternator bro! And he was right! I couldn’t afford the alternator to begin with and he literally just helped me find out the real issue before taking my money!!! I’d give him 20 stars if I could!
