I went to this Ulta this past Sunday and was surprised at how organized it was. There were hardly any customers there so it was nice and quiet. It was a pleasant experience until a worker made some comments to my daughter and her friend (both 12 year olds) about how they could get pink eye and herpes if they used the testers. My daughter was there to shop with her gift cards she had gotten for her birthday, but also wanted to make an experience of it and do makeup with her friend. I had an extremely disappointing experience with the manager, Chris, at the Ulta in Land O' Lakes. During a phone conversation, he was rude, dismissive, and highly unprofessional. Instead of listening to my concerns, he spoke over me and refused to let me speak with another manager or someone else who could assist me. What was most upsetting was that he referred to me as "sassy," a comment I found inappropriate, disrespectful, and one that I perceived as racially insensitive. I'm a Diamond member and shop at this Ulta regularly, which made this experience especially disappointing. The store is perfectly fine until something goes wrong. I placed an online pickup order, but due to an issue with Ulta's system, it was routed to the wrong store. Instead of helping me resolve the problem, I was simply told I needed to call a random store in Oregon or wait four days for a refund.
