My daughter is 10yo. Her dad wanted to give her a special valentines day gift, her first time at a fancy salon. He made an appointment and still waited 45mins. She is very stubborn abt cutting length off her hair but she wanted two chunky red streaks framing her face & layers. It was barely trimmed, not layered and the two streaks were hardly even visible, it was the thinnest highlight I've ever seen. The red only lasted a couple weeks too! TOTAL COST: $140 + Tip?! Never again! I paid for a 30min makeup lesson. My makeup artist was 10min late. I just wanted to learn about eyeshadow and how to apply it. All I got was eye primer put on me and then she started talking about concealer which I didn’t want to know about. And then it was only a 10 min “lesson” waste of 30 bucks
Decided to do my hair to surprise my husband for valentines I was so excited I’ve showed what I want and they said that the price will be $141 but then when I got for my appointment price went up for $230 since I had highlights on my hair it will cost more so I said I don’t mind if it shows my highlights since I wanted milk brown or chocolate color the stylist he said okay it will look like that once he showed me the results I just started to cry! Don’t go unless you want to pay about $500 and have your hair completely butchered when all you needed was a simple highlight, to end up going to a whole different salon and they charged HALF and fixed EVERYTHING they can’t even do a plain highlight without ruining your entire head and left questioning if it just genuinely looks terrible or if its the lighting…no matter where you go…surprise, it was terrible. Banding around my entire head where I didn’t even go out in public for DAYS
