This place is an absolute mess and the customer service is a nightmare. I went in to buy a new skincare product and wanted a recommendation. I could not find a singular person who worked in the building. I walked back to the register to ask for help and there was no one there. I stood around for a minute waiting and the phone was ringing off the hook. No one answered the phone and no one came to help me. I finally just left. Jezzel was so rude and unwelcoming, made me feel really uncomfortable. I thought maybe she was having a bad day but I saw this is not the first time she behaves like this. I will not be coming back to this location in Novato. I work customer service too and I would never have the attitude she had, look for something else if you don’t like working there.
We went in here today and spent over $150... and to be treated as horribly as Jezzel treated us made me never want to return to Ulta ever again. And after coming on here and reading reviews this is obviously a top down problem! The manager obviously does NOT train these people properly in proper customer service. Ridiculous considering how much money we spent there. Do better, and learn how to treat your paying customers! I will be filling a complaint with corporate next!
I am writing this review based on numerous consistently poor experiences at this Ulta location, culminating in a deeply disappointing interaction I witnessed yesterday during checkout.
