I try really hard to be understanding and nice even when I’m not happy with the outcome of my hair, but i did not have a pleasant experience at the Okemos salon. The last time I was there to shop I wanted to purchase a tube of mascara of a specific brand. On the floor, there were only tubes available in the shade of brown. When I reached the register, they had multiple tubes of the mascara I was looking for in Black however I was unable to purchase it. Got some amazing customer service here a couple weeks ago, I wish I would’ve gotten her name cause she really deserves some recognition. I was on a time crunch, and I was looking to replace my red lipstick and was getting low and old. Unfortunately Ulta doesn’t carry that brand anymore, so I was wandering around aimlessly trying to find something I would like. This employee came to my rescue. Asantewa did my curly haircut yesterday and healed the trauma of a past bad hair cut! She talked me through the whole process and did a great job at making me feel heard and comfortable. She was awesome and I’ll definitely be going back to see her for my next cut, along with sending my friends her way too!
