I had a very disappointing experience at Ulta today. From the moment I walked in, the associates completely ignored me. The only employee who acknowledged me and asked if I needed assistance was Bianca, who was kind, professional, and helpful throughout my visit. I truly appreciated her customer service. As a Black woman, it was hard not to notice that Bianca, who is also Black, was the only associate who treated me with basic courtesy and respect. I’m giving this an update and finally posting this on the official Google page because I already submitted a complaint directly to Ulta. Based on the way they responded, I could tell they clearly understood the issue. They told me they were going to call my wife and speak with her about what happened, but that call never came through. I came in the other day and was so overwhelmed as someone who has no clue about makeup or skincare. Sahar must have noticed and was wonderful at, assisting me despite my asking her a thousand questions, she never once seemed overwhelmed or that I was asking too much. She actually encouraged me to ask so she could make sure I walk out with exactly what I want and need.
