The stylist was very sweet and did a nice job on my hair, though it took a bit longer than expected. I was especially excited to get my makeup done since it’s only the second time I’ve had it professionally done in my life. Unfortunately, the makeup was disappointing. I don’t think the stylist had much experience with more mature skin. The one star is specifically towards the one rude employee who isn’t aware of what lines of products the store carries, told me that just because it shows online that it’s available at that store it doesn’t mean that. What??? And that I could drive to Frankfort to get it. The product was there the entire time and I made my purchase. Thank you to the staff who were polite and informed.

So I get the younger crowd (iykyk) are starting to wear makeup and whatnot, and that using testers has become a (pun intended) testy subject, but PLEASE stop staring people down when they're using them. I'm a 26 year old woman and felt like I was being baby-sat/eyed down by employees just because I was swatching the new k-beauty products. Being a retail worker myself I know that loss prevention is extremely important for metrics, but you can't just treat every customer as if they're a convicted criminal. :/ Cashiers are usua... read more

I frequent this Ulta because it is the closest one to where I live. I will say that this location is wonderful if you know exactly what you're looking for. If you need help from an employee to find your shade or ask a question, I would say to skip this location and go to another location or Sephora instead.
