Usually I like shopping in this store, but an experience I had the other night gave me the ick. Associates on the floor were kind and checked in occasionally, but when I was finished with my shopping and went to check out, I was informed that a product that had a 50% off entire brand sign on it actually wasn’t 50% off. The cashier informed me that they put out the signs for the daily 50% off deals the night before, so that’s why the sign was out. I could not go genuinely 3 minutes without being forced to say that I'm okay, thank you. I was in for around 20min and had seven different people ask how I'm doing. I usually keep my earbuds in to be in my own little world and say thanks if I see someone speaking to me, but twice two different employees forced their way into my vision while I was crouched, testing foundation on a bottom shelf, looking down. The employee at the front (Cashier Vanessa) asked me multiple times if i wanted to add a phone number after declining politely three times her whole attitude shifted and she handed me my item in the bag with one finger. As if she was disgusted or something. She didn’t say thank you or bye as we left as she didn’t for the customers before us. It’s Incredibly unprofessional for demeanor to change when customers decline reward/loyalty sign up’s. A customer is a customer regardless, a sign up shouldn’t make me more valuable.
