The Ulta in East Peoria is by far the best Ulta location in Central Illinois! The associates are friendly, happy to help and knowledgeable about skin care. It is a completely different experience compared to the Peoria location. It is as though they're not the same brand. I will make the trip to East Peoria from now on! The East Peoria team has renewed my loyalty to Ulta!
This store is well organized and clearly well managed but I hesitate to shop here because the employees at the register are always so hostile. I go out of my way to be polite and respectful and I don't ask questions or bother anyone. I typically am in the store for less than 5 minutes grabbing the products I want and checking out. I had a really uncomfortable experience at this Ulta location. One of the employees, Vanessa, came across as very tense and rude during my visit. The energy felt off right away not just toward me as a customer, but also in the way she interacted with other employees. She seemed irritated and dismissive, and it honestly made the whole environment feel awkward and unwelcoming.
