Make sure you know what you are paying for! Set appointment for haircut at salon- stylist did dry cut (I didn't realize that is what I signed up for- but ok). When cut was done, stylist asked if I wanted a shampoo. Assuming an add on (and I didn't really need), I said no. Up front to cashiers- charged $57. Thought -wow- that's a lot for a 15 minute dry cut. Checked online later and site says "all haircuts include cleanse, condition, scalp massage & blowdry." Raven, Ulta's beautician specialist in curls, is a great hair stylist and a great person. I am very pleased with my new cut! She is also proficient in makeup makeovers.

Tatiana was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about all different brands and lines. I’ve asked for help at previous places and felt like I was pushed to buy trending products that didn’t work for me. Tatiana worked with my needs and color matched the perfect foundation for me. Most efficient and helpful advice I’ve received while shopping for makeup. Thank you!

Heads up for future patrons of Ulta. When calling to schedule a shampoo, cut, style and blow dry, make sure you are clear with the services you want. I was given an Elite stylist (more expensive) instead of a Master one. Next, I was given a costly conditioning treatment when I had told the stylist otherwise. She then tried to push a curling iron service on me (at an additional cost) that I had to "emphatically" refuse. The total price for the service received was way overpriced.
