I'm rating an event rather than the Fairgrounds themselves, though they were fine. The Woodstock-New Paltz Art & Craft Fair presented by Quail Hollow here over both Memorial and Labor Day weekends features the works of hundreds of local artists and artisans in three massive tents and row upon row of individual booths. Admission us $12 for adults, $10 for seniors. Same as usual. One mention of a vendor who had a booth of animal portraits was a little overly sensitive and rude. Had a lion portrait I took a pic of and he had a meltdown like his pics were the holy grail. Only took a pic because I was interested in possibly purchasing. He freaked out. I would never buy anything from that dude ever. Caucasian man with a goatee and was in his early 60s. Other than that stupid incident, all the other vendors were nice. Had a good time.

We go to the Ulster County Fair every year. It’s a great time for the whole family with lots of programming throughout the day.
