Dr. Ullrich, Dr. Derrisaw, and their teams were absolutely wonderful with my husband's procedure. They made him feel a lot more comfortable during pre-op and took great care of him. After comparing experiences with another family member who had the same procedure with different providers, we are so happy we went with Dr. Ullrich!
Dr Ullrich is an excellent surgeon. We were passing through Laramie and a sneeze sent me to the ER. Within 60 minutes I was in the OR. I spent 3 days at Ivinson Memorial Hospital. This was by far the best experience I've had as a patient in a hospital. He was very attentive kind patient and professional. Everyday he made sure I was progressing and comfortable. I would highly recommend him as a surgeon if you have the need in his field of expertise.

Dr. Ullrich has been my surgeon for four years now, treating me for a recurring issue that falls within his purview although surgery, while an option, is truly not the best treatment for me, though it remains a last resort. He is caring and has a great bedside manner. He has always listened to me and discussed my care and what he believed to be going on with me. He is conservative, giving you the time you need to heal rather than rushing you out of the hospital too soon. He is a great doctor.
Dr. Ullrich filled in for my surgeon when mine went on vacation and I developed complications and had to be re-admitted to IMH. He knew just what to do, and was very professional and very good, taking all the time I needed to explain things to myself and my husband. When my original surgeon returned, I asked to be switched over to Dr. Ullrich. I was in IMH for 3 more weeks. But he saw me through my troubles. He's the only surgeon I will let touch me again!!
