The quality of the sushi isn't great considering the price. At this price point, I'd recommend Sushi-den or Uchi instead.
Dining at Ukiyo was easily one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in all of Denver. Ukiyo is incredible. Chef Paul and his second-in-command put on a spectacular dinner, breaking down the origin, backstory, and best way to enjoy every single dish from start to finish. For finer restaraunts like this I really wish I could give 4.5 stars. I really liked the scalops and of course the wagyu beef was fantastic! I also enjoyed the variety and how it wasn't all sushi. The tip to eat the sushi inverted for the garnish to hit your palate first was great advise! The main reason I couldn't give a 5 star rating is the dessert.
