I had a good experience 3 times. I couldn’t ask for more empathetic and kind team. They treated my animals with love and care. They supported me during the hardest moments for a pet owner… 1 year ago my 9 yo cat Akil was diagnosed with heart failure and blood clot in his heart. One morning he just stopped using his front paw. He was seen fast, evaluated and admitted to ICU. Dr. Rosen and 4th year student Caroline were absolutely fantastic with our small terrier. They performed surgery on her tongue and had her ready to go home the very same day. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and skilled professionals and students. We are very glad and lucky to have been able to take our girl here for her surgery. U of I provides much needed care for animals for a much lower price than privately owned (and private equity-owned) animal hospitals.
