This school has methods that are not and have never been backed by science. No child should feel the abandonment and shame that she school causes. The children and adults that I've spoken to about the situation created by this organization all find the relationship between parents and children are severed due to the anger and pain associated with going through these programs. Please don't consider this an option. This is not a long term solution or a solution in general. Do NOT send your child to these programs.
My name is Aislyn Stangel I am 16 years old and I am a current student at uinta academy. I have been here for a little over 21 months! i absolutely LOVE uinta! the staff and therapist here and so kind and so amazing! I am currently at the west home which is also referred to as the achievement home! uinta feels like family to me and i love it so much! it has helped me so much and it is so amazing. with being at the achievement home which is where the last stages of change take place we are looked at as role models to the kids... read more
