Sitting in this ER now after being sent here from urgent care for a possible blood clot. This is by FAR the worst hospital I have ever been to. No communication until you act like a pain just so you can know what’s happening. They didn’t even have my IV in when CT finally got to me an hour later. The nurse stuck me in a room and never checked on me to see I needed a blanket or anything at all. Still sitting here almost four hours later without any answers. We took our 6 year old son to this ER after a fall at school, which resulted in a broken elbow/arm. They were all so good and patient with him. Very accommodating with anything to make him more confortable. They were very patient with me, as I asked questions. We are off to surgery this morning at the Children's Hospital.
This is my personal experience and I’m gonna try to keep this VERY long story short: I am not one to go to the doctors, but after passing out in the middle of my living room from pain I had to go. I was given tests that weren’t recommended appropriately. I get it’s “new” but maybe there should have been more preparations before opening in my own opinion. Way overpriced. I had a fever and came here and somehow the bill ended up at near $3000, $1453 just to walk through the door.
Honestly cannot say enough good things about this ER! While we did have a bit of a wait, we understand we were not a true emergency at the time (with no other options at 1:30 a.m. we brought our sick infant in) The ER is very secure with a security guard on duty, the waiting area was spacious and clean, and the nurses and doctor treated us with care and compassion through our entire visit.
