We begged them to protect my mother from falling, from the very beginning of her stay, but they didn’t. They even placed things out of her reach sometimes - things like her water, glasses etc. She ended up falling while trying to reach something. Her injury was minor but she died two days later, presumably of a blood clot that no one attempted to prevent. Someone wrote COVID on her death certificate. She had been placed at Pruitt by a local hospital because she had COVID, but recovered about 1 1/2 months before she fell out ... read more

My father was a resident here for a few weeks, and began having symptoms of hypercapnea and no one noticed! After my father passed, we had to call several times to get his belongings. His items were crammed haphazardly into boxes (along with papers belonging to a different patient!?). Two separate items weren't returned. I had to call 3 different days in order to get his special made table, and then someone stole his cell phone. Do NOT trust these people with your loved ones.
