I called to book a physical, I was told I was not eligible for a physical yet, it has to be a full year between physicals if you are on medicare. I called BCBS to check. They said I can get one physical and one wellness visit per calendar year. I called back to UHS and convinced the receptionist to book a physical. When I got there, they had changed it to follow up office visit. So I had to pay a copay. They do not have the right to do that to a patient.
I recently went for a routine checkup at UHS on Main Street in Endicott. My appointment was scheduled for 2:30 PM, and the nurse called me in around 2:25 PM. The entire process was smooth and efficient. The nurse was professional, respectful, and friendly while checking my blood pressure, weight, and other basic information.
