I'm only giving this a 2 star because it's the only place around that actually handles mental health crisis's with adolescents. I've been to this location with my child on numerous occasions. The only thing good about this place is the French fries, and a kind nurse named Lisa in the CPEP area on the first floor. First and foremost, the waiting area is extremely small. I spoke with Operator number 4 with the switchboard services. She refused to give me her name and was completely rude when I wanted to know if one of my relatives was ok . She refused to give me any information and I was the person who signed them in and they were supposed to notify me if any changes happened but they didn't. The customer service there is lousy and needs better management to train people properly to deal with customers. Operator number 4 is a bad representation of why our job industry is failing. Thank you.
HORRIBLE experience. Had one of the doctors telling my visitor “I don’t care” because he mistaken them as a worker there. First of all, racist?? Second of all, wdym you don’t care??? All he did was pretend to check in on me right after explaining his rude attitude but basically did nothing throughout the entire time I was there. Didn’t even give me a proper answer for my abnormal blood test and just discharged me after I “appeared normal”. SUPER unprofessional and do not recommend.
I would give 0 stars if I could. Beware if you have type 1 diabetes. Staff is not trained appropriately in handling anything with type 1 diabetes, except for injecting it. Horrible experience and when you tell the nurses they're wrong or not following basic diabetes care they argue with you. Nothing was done until I contacted patient relations who contacted the ER nurse manager.
