This review is not about the care I received - which was excellent - it's about a piece of medical equipment that I was overcharged by $300 for. Yesterday, I had a follow up visit with a doc in Independence who replaced my ankle - Dr. John Feighan - and after my visit they gave me a Breg Genesis 3-strap boot, and I signed something that gave them permission to bill my insurance for $500. I was here for a conference about Adjunct Clinical Faculty for several local nursing schools. It was freezing in there. I could barely concentrate because I was so cold. In an odd twist, it was 90 degrees outside so every break, I ran outside. That's my only complaint. I think the information was helpful.
