The last thing I want to hear is a nurse saying loudly for her patients to hear that she wishes people weren’t coming in. Saying “Tell them we’re closed.” And “No I don’t want to take care of that person.” Is so rude, I was there to get a midline removed and the nurse supposedly the only one available lacked empathy, tact, and compassion. How low budget do you have to be to move a helio pad to a parking lot in the middle of a neighborhood because you can't afford to fix the elevator? How much other equipment needs upgraded but isn't. When the hospital starts Cutting corners to save money it. can't be good. University Hospitals will run this facility into the ground so they can close it
I always receive the best care at EMH Nurses work so well together even when it’s hectic busy they still give their best Lorelei and Arthur from the 6th floor are 2 of my favorite as well as Wendy the patient care coordinator she is an angel
After having bad luck at Mercy and Cleveland Clinic Avon I decided to go a little out of my way to University Hospitals ED. The staff were friendly. I got immediately brought back to a room. The testing came out smooth and fast as well as results. I had everything done before I'd even be brought back at the other Hospitals. Plus I got a room, not the hallway like I did get at Cleveland Clinic or a curtain room at Mercy with no place for privacy. 3-18- 26 visit to ER , I don't believe the other prior negative reviews . My experience was that all staff involved in my situation were very highly skilled, professional and caring. I was taken in for treatment immediately no wait time at all. I have nothing but good things to say about the ER at UH Elyria. I strongly recommend
