Paid a deposit in December for an appointment in June for a custom hat, as a gift. Didn't reply to emails, messages via his website or via messenger over this period. Had to pursue a refund via credit card company, at which point he actually made contact, but still ignored my request for the actual appointment rather than the refund. Very disappointing, wouldn't recommend. Update: despite what the owner claims, my appointment booking was paid for in Dec 2023. Follow up emails 13th April and 24th May went unanswered. Ugo is more than just a hat maker, he is a charismatic, passionate and creative artist. I am super grateful for this one off piece that I have had the opportunity to get my hands on.
