RecommendedVery knowledgeable staff at the fly shop, but more importantly very good service and approachable. I know nothing about fishing and am going on a big trip at Christmas, these guys found the flies on my list and recommended a couple more. They put me at ease despite my lack of knowledge. I won't shop for another fly anywhere else.
Had a great day catching fish with Jake, top notch guiding and overall great guy to fish with. Highly recommended and I hope to do it again soon.
Had a great time bird hunting today. My wife booked this trip for my birthday and I didn't really know what to expect. I've hunted farm birds before, in other places and it was just ok. I have to say, my guid was awesome, very friendly, and had some of the best trained dogs I've ever hunted behind. My wife was a first time bird hunter and he even took the time to teach her how to shoot birds, where to aim, and when to shoot. We killed a lot of birds and had a great time. We will defentily be back.

My grandson and I went out with Tyler Soulek in early June. The trip was to celebrate my grandson's graduation from high school. Neither one of us had ever fly fishing before. Tyler patiently taught us the basics , then took us out on the river. We landed 10 fish in the first hour. The second day we had 18 doubles, in fact, we stopped counting how many fish we hooked and only started counting the doubles. Tyler was an excellent guide. Had the best flyfishing experience ever on a one-day guided float trip with Blake. Blake was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He was glad to help my novice wife improve her flyfishing skills and by the end of the day she felt completely comfortable with a rod. He was able to give me pointers as well which was fantastic. Being a person that has their own drift boat and is not a novice. Blake and the Ugly Bug offer a superb Flyfishing experience. Great guys, funny sense of humor and above all else makes a good time into a great time. Highly-highly recommended!!
