My mind often drifts to the memories of this 2004 trip. As remote as it gets. You fly in and the plane won’t be back till the appointed day. If you’re injured or have trouble, it takes days to hike out of there through big burly bear country! At the time of this trip, This was only 1 cabin on Uganik Lake. It stays very busy, so you have to schedule well in advance to use it. When you think of the massive bears that wander this land you just wonder about the thickness of the walls of this little cabin. Is it ENOUGH!??
