So many days I came from the trades area to use the gym, and almost always got in trouble for wearing my steel toe boots. As long as the boots are clean I really don't see why one would wear sneakers. It's funny how pencil necks often assume that they are smarter than you because you are wearing certain clothes. It's not best practice.
