Ran into a frustrating situation with a wire transfer and wasn’t sure how it would get resolved. Michael Thibodeaux, the member services manager, followed up thoroughly, answered every question directly, and worked with his team to get to the bottom of what happened. I’ll admit I had my doubts going in, but he proved me wrong, he genuinely cared about getting it right and made sure I had real answers, not just a brush off. That kind of follow through says a lot. I had an auto loan with UFCU and recently paid it off. Unfortunately, the payoff process was frustrating. Additional fees were added at the end, and getting them corrected required multiple follow-ups due to poor communication. On top of that, their online banking platform feels slow and outdated. Based on my experience, I would not recommend them. Better to look elsewhere.

Terrible experience with this bank already and I just opened my account a month ago! I need to pay my rent using Zelle but it’s not going through because it says I go over the allowed amount! First, no one told me there was a limited amount using Zelle, second, I was able to send the money easily with my previous bank! Rent is due by Monday and now I’ll have to drive to the branch get the money while I’m having a horrible toothache! The inconvenience! I could not have chosen a better bank. Staff speaks to you as so as you walk in. They've gotten to know me so well. They're very attentive to what your needs are. The manager so helpful and empathetic If you're having a problem. Kudos to all the staff at University Federal Credit Union where all your banking needs are met. They're on West Parmer Lane ya'll not to far from Walmart or Poke-E-Jo's.
