My Mom had a procedure done there and her nurses Kim and Melissa took good care of her. Kim had a great bedside manner she explained everything to us. Overall, the visit went smoothly! Highly recommend
This place beyond ATROCIOUS! I called on Monday to have my referral for a colonoscopy sent to a gastroenterologist and was told by a supervisor named Amy after getting the runaround from the guy who answered the phone and treated me like a bad person because I was discharged after expressing my concerns about the duty of care I received from my physician. No!!!! Do not go here! Waited months for an appointment and finally the day came and I paid copay and waited 90 min in waiting room and was never seen. Asked for a refund for copay. Received a refund receipt. Never got the refund. Called billing dept a week later and was told it would take 10 days to process refund to my credit card. And I would receive a call back to confirm. I booked my appointment three months in advance. Twenty minutes before the visit, the office called to cancel because the doctor had an emergency. Instead of accommodating me fairly, I was told my only choices were to see a nurse practitioner that week or wait another three months to see the doctor. Why should patients be penalized for the practice’s issues? I went with the nurse practitioner, but that experience was no better. Horrible experience. Took my son to establish as new patient after long wait for appointment. Like others stated no insurance information in their system even though all his info in MyChart with UF Health. Nurse practitioner Ursula Crews was horribly rude. Never once looked at my son. Just asked basic questions and refused to give his much needed referral to a neurologist. She nastily stated she didn’t have time only 6 minutes to complete her visit.
