Delicious Tomato Rice Yummy South Indian food. I am not a fan of south indian food but they definitely ahve some real good dishes. My cousins and I love their tomato rice.
Delicious Indian Food Its a nice place in Schaumburg that serves the best Dosa in the US. Its crispy, flavorful , aromatic and so very tasty. They have a wide assortment of delicious Indian food. The cafe itself is very pretty with beautiful interiors and a great color combination. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves Indian food. PROS: Taste, Ambience CONS: Slightly expensive
Vegeterian Food Udupi Palace is a great Indian restaurant to check out in the suburbs. It is a vegetarian restaurant, but there are a lot of great dishes to try here. Although everything is strictly vegetarian, there still is tons of flavor in the food because of all the exotic spices. Their menu is large and there's lots to try here. The service is great and make sure to ask the server for some good recommendations. Also, this place is very affordable, so don't miss out on this one.
We visited Udipi for dinner on our way thru Chicago. It is supposed to be a pure vegetarian place but this location serves meat and as per their menu, they are proud about it :-( . Not a good sign in continuing traditions. This was my first disappointment. We ordered the traditional items like Avial, poori, paper masala dosa, rava dosa which are very basic and traditional items. My family and I went to Udupi Palace last Wednesday. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Definitely one of my favorite places for Indian food!
My friends and I went to Udupi Palace a couple of days ago, and they had great food. The dosa was delicious as was the buffet when we had gone a couple months ago. The service was great and it didn't take long for the food to arrive which was excellently prepared. Loved it!
