Dr. Bhatnager is an amazing cardiologist. His level of skill and care was beyond my expectations. Las Cruces is lucky to have him.
I appreciate that his medical assistant was very thorough. Although I had seen Dr. Bhatnager two or three times before, he seemed a bit ill at ease. He never looked at me, and he spoke with his assistant, not me. For that reason, I don't know that I would feel comfortable allowing him to do any invasive procedures on me. I realize doctors are under tremendous pressure, but I long to be a real human being, not a body on a cold steel table. I thought I had a very good relationship with Dr. Bhatnager. At my last appointment, he was very angry and continued to be so. He spent a few minutes with me and that was it. Four weekdays ago (6 days if you count the weekend days), I wanted to talk to him because I am having a reaction to Metoprolol and want to change my beta blocker. I have not heard a whisper from him. I hate to think what would happen in an emergency situation. I expected better from him.
So I need to get an order transferred and its a Friday. The office closes at 4pm. I started calling at 3:30pm only to get the automated voice say they are closed!!! it's not 4pm! wow,,, these people are not very caring about this community I am seeing based on their reviews. And I am a recently new patient to them. Now I'm looking elsewhere
